Hållbara Trafikskolan in Gothenburg makes the way to your licence safer, simpler and more sustainable, for you and for the environment.
A driving school with a clear idea
We started with a simple thought: getting a licence should feel personal and safe, and it should not harm the environment more than necessary. That is why we only teach in electric cars with automatic transmission.
You get an instructor who sees you, adapts the lessons to you and is with you all the way from the first lesson to the day you have your licence. We are open some weekends, so you can combine your licence with work, studies and family life.
How we teach
We always start by finding out where you are. If you have practised a lot privately, you may only need a few lessons before the test. If you are completely new, we make a plan from the start.
- Road safety first. We practise real situations, not just passing the test.
- Clear feedback after every lesson, so you know what to practise next.
- Lessons in Swedish and English. The theory material is also available in Arabic.
- No sales pressure. We recommend the number of lessons we actually think you need.
Sustainability in practice
Our cars are electric Volkswagen ID.3s charged with renewable electricity, so the lessons give no direct emissions. We also teach sustainable driving: how to drive efficiently, plan your driving and reduce both energy use and wear.
We do not think sustainability is about being perfect. It is about doing what you can, and doing it properly. Nobody can do everything, but everyone can do something.
