Supervisor coaching
Optional coaching for you who will practise driving privately. 75 minutes with a driving instructor, for the supervisor alone or together with the student.
Since 1 August 2026, supervisors and students no longer need to take the introductory training (handledarkurs) to practise privately for a car licence. The Swedish parliament removed the requirement.
The supervisor must still be approved by the Swedish Transport Agency, and the student needs a valid learner's permit.
How the coaching works
If you still want a safe start, we offer optional coaching of 75 minutes. You get information, time for questions and a session in the practice car with a driving instructor. You get the instructor's tips for safe and effective practice.
The coaching is for one person or for two: a supervisor and a student, or two supervisors. You book it in the web shop.

Good to know
- Requirements
- The supervisor must be at least 24, have held a driving licence for at least five of the last ten years and be approved as a supervisor by the Swedish Transport Agency.
